Behaviour Basics for Relief Teachers was designed to address a clear gap in professional development for casual educators—specifically, the lack of targeted behaviour management training tailored to the unique challenges relief teachers face. Relief teachers often enter unfamiliar classrooms with limited context, making effective behaviour strategies essential for maintaining a positive learning environment.
Using the ADDIE model, I collaborated with stakeholders to analyse these needs and design a learner-centered, blended program that combines interactive eLearning in Rise360 with resources for face-to-face delivery. The course is structured to build confidence through scenario-based learning, practical strategies, and reflective activities. Implementation included training facilitators to deliver the program consistently, while embedded evaluation tools, such as learner reflections and toolkit comparisons ensure the resource remains impactful and adaptable. This project showcases my ability to create scalable, market-responsive solutions that empower casual educators with real-world skills.
